Reto Buzano
Welcome! I'm an Associate Professor in the Differential and Complex Geometry group at the Università di Torino (UniTo) in Italy. Previously, I worked at Queen Mary University of London, Imperial College London, Warwick University, and the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, after obtaining my PhD from ETH Zürich.
Research
My research is in Differential Geometry, Geometric Partial Differential Equations and Geometric Analysis. My main interest lies on geometric flows (Ricci Flow, Harmonic Ricci Flow, Mean Curvature Flow, etc.) and their singularity models (so-called solitons), minimal surfaces and higher dimensional conformal geometry. For more details, including job opportunities, please see my Research Page.
And here you can find all my publications.
Teaching
In the academic year 2024/2025, I will teach "Linear Algebra and Geometry" (half of the course on Discrete Mathematics, Algebra and Geometry) to first year Computer Science students as well as a Master's course on Differential Geometry and a PhD course on Einstein Manifolds.
